y este hopelessness?

what's up with this hopelessness issue? lately i've heard quite a few people complaining about how life is gray and hopeless and not smile producing and monotonous and limited and other things.

yes, life is hard. yes, problems come and go. yes, it's kind of tricky and easy to fall into routine. yes, we sometimes get sucked into a void kind of feeling and miss the grander view of things- sometimes even missing the point of it all.

BUT please know we don't have to remain that way! we don't have to leave ourselves stuck in the mud. we don't have to settle for a shitty view of things. we don't have to choose depression and mental prison. but if you trip, who says you have to stay on the floor for the rest of your life? we've all fallen millions of times, and we've all gotten up.

we can always do it one more time.

there are ways- MANY ways- to get out of that. PLEASE be creative about your life and how you can help yourself. please at least consider the idea of not stupidly accepting such a negative and false view of how you can live. inside yourself YOU decide how things look, and how you see them. we're talking about YOUR life, not about however other million people on the planet.

please be there... for you.

yeah, that's the problem, then people falsely believe that's how life is and it's definitely not. we can break free and, yes, get to laugh at things. we can practice getting better at this.

you know, i get sad and bummed and frustrated but I look for the lesson and keep on moving. YOu have to have a sense of humor about things or you'll go nuts.

yes, i agree. we are not taught about how to handle when things don't go our ways. we are only taught automated responses of smiles when it goes ur way and tears or frowns when it doesn't.

it's great to recognize this and make a conscious effort to make it better, and finding our own better ways to deal.
