Caution is important. We should think before we act and all of that. We should minimize unnecessary, harmful risks. However, playing it safe should be no excuse to limiting ourselves to mediocrity, justifying that a possibility of failure, humiliation or loss would be the sane reason not to go for something important. Achieving a great goal requires that we face equally large risks. And if it is true that there is a big chance of not achieving it, then it is just as true that there is a huge chance of its positive equivalent. Success is always a possibility.
