She said, "Well, what do you think is easier? To try something new and challenging, or to return to the known, the comfortable, the manageable?"

She said exactly what I was thinking. I don't want to settle for easy, though. I've done it too many times. I don't want to repeat the same old script. I know how that goes. Novelty, please!

I'm taking the risks- even though I might stumble and fall and get up again and be slow to advance. At least I'm moving towards breaking the comfort zone boundaries. I might move jerkily and unelegantly at first, until I learn this new rhythm. But I'll continue moving, unstopped by the scary, motivated by the new. I don't want to be stuck in the same old place anymore. Enough of that.

Healthy plunges are part of my current diet.
