Hey beautiful peeps!
Check it out! I've contributed an entry to Deepak Chopra's blog, IntentBlog. It has a large number of contributors, and many of the writings are mind openers that provide awareness and quality reflection. And you know me, I'm all for thinking about life and its lessons.

I am glad I could add a grain of sand to that well intentioned project, or at least I hope to.

On another note
Yesterday I saw The Departed. That movie made me think... So much of life goes into inflating the ego, to building the false illusion of power and being in charge. Who is in charge anyway? Who can possibly control other human beings and decide their fate? Who can think he or she has so many people "under" them, that they are the king or queen of anything?
No one. No human being can take the reigns of the universe. Hello, with our untrained minds and undeveloped brain usage, most of us cannot even grasp the concept of the bigness of life- let alone the crazy idea that we could somehow dominate a part of it... when the only minuscule part that we can attempt to manage is our own life. And God knows we all struggle with this simple task.
Keeping my ego in a healthy place has been a big challenge for me, but I prefer to go through this kind of trouble, than to fool myself into believing a lie, and then inevitably crash with the unaccepted truth. No. I want to continue remembering that feeling important or big does not depend on having followers or adulators or people who agree with me. It depends on my own self worth. And I am not more or less than anyone else, since everyone is big in their own place.

Felicidades por tu aporte a Intent, no la conozco pero le daré un vistazo.
Hace un par de semana que me vi “The Departed”, primeramente la película me gustó un montón pero el contenido que tiene mas allá de lo obvio me dejó pensando bastante.
Chelle, it's a tightrope we are walking. Balance achieved, hey presto, no tightrope! Freedom.
Love the freedom afforded by your words.

i loved that article u wrote..
u know I have been thinking about the same thing these days.. how people are just never quite satisfied with anything.. even we are soemtimes confused with what we want or what we believe in..
but we should always keep in mind that what truly hold us is our word.. if we do not have our word.. keep it.. then who are we?
only we make ourselves.. no one but us can know better who that is.
