Por Donde Comienza la Cosa

What is your opinion about a character like Hellen Keller?

sand- an example, an inspiration, someone who reminds us that obstacles can be overcome, and no matter how challenging our situation, we can always find a way to surpass it. furthermore, a reminder of all the things we take for granted and should be grateful for, every single day of our lives. :)

Better read the book LIES MY TEACHER TOLD ME...

haven't read it, but it should be very interesting. of course historians kinda rewrite history to make it more digestable and to develop a sense of patriotism and such, especially american history.

about keller, of course there's more to her than that, and no life story is perfect and she was a real person who did much more than come out of the "dark", but she did, and it will still be an important symbol, just like one other person I know who spent like 20 or more years in a wheelchair and now she trains yoga teachers!

thanks for the recommendation!! what did you think about it?
